Online Arbitrage Simplified with RevSeller

As we’ve talked about before, the biggest challenge for making a profit in online arbitrage is sourcing profits at a price that’s low enough to make a profit on the flip-side. Well, in the last couple of posts, I’ve outlined a couple of great apps that help you find low prices and great deals. But how do you know when the low price that you found is low enough? I mean, it’s one thing to find a discount. But is the discount low enough to ensure a strong ROI? What about fees and expenses? How do you really know?

Well, there are a lot of tools out there to help you figure it out. I can think of half a dozen different FBA calculators that you can use for free. But many of those – including Amazon Seller Central’s FBA Revenue Calculator, take a lot of manual effort and time. And time is a resource that is precious – especially when the Amazon market can change so quickly. So, if you’re a serious player in the FBA market, then you need a more powerful tool. And that means you’re going to have to invest a little bit.

But there is an amazing tool out there that is both affordable and incredibly easy to use. The price is just $99.99 for a year’s subscription. That works out to about $8.33 per month but, sorry, there’s no monthly option. There is, however, a 30-day free trial.

RevSeller is a very straightforward extension for Google Chrome that will make your life easier if you’re serious about online arbitrage. The RevSeller tool simply expands the data you see on amazon item pages, and allows you to plug in your buy cost to get instant ROI. It functions like a heads-up display, popping up on the screen without the need to actively open it.

The app provides quick-access to some valuable data, usually including the following:

  • MFN & FBA sell prices, with number of available offers
  • Item Sales Ranking in its Category
  • 90 day average price and sales rank history (based on data from Keepa)
  • ASIN number
  • Item weight and dimensions

It may also include ancillary information such as a model number, UPC and more.

Here’s a screenshot of the RevSeller HUD.

Notice that this is a smart calculator. If you enter your buy cost in the appropriate fields (see the red cir-cles), the app is going to do all the work for you. You can see your net profit, ROI and margin esti-mates, instantly. You can also customize the calculator by adjusting the settings.

But that’s not all RevSeller does. It also gives you easy access to other very important information. For example, it can help you find out quickly if you are restricted from selling a product, or if you might need authorization. The app provides direct links to Keepa, to the Amazon calculator, and product reviews to help you with further research. There is also a menu with links to search the same product on other sites like Google and Ebay.

RevSeller also has a very useful Variations Viewer tool. This tool, alone, would make it worth your while. If you’ve ever dealt with arbitrage on clothing items, you know how difficult it can be to decide which sizes will actually sell. The RevSeller Variations Viewer automatically analyzes both in-stock and out-of-stock variations on a product to show you valuable information about which colors or sizes are the best-selling. So, you won’t have to struggle with which sizes to buy for an easy resale.

In conclusion, RevSeller is easily one of my favorite tools for making a profit in Online Arbitrage with Amazon. It’s easy to use, affordable and helps me make a profit. Who could ask for more?
